Well, what a weekend we had. Skye being the terrier she is wouldn't take "wait" for an order. Steve left the gate open for a second (he didn't know she was out and didn't check first), and Skye took herself for a walk.
On another note, Skye's blood tests came back, and we are reducing her Sodium Bromide from 3.75ml twice a day to 3.50ml twice a day. Thank you BioPreparation.
Not only that, I am on the BioSuperfood, which is the human version and got a pleasant surprise last night. Have you ever had one of those moments when you walk into a room and forget what you went to get? I have been having that issue lately, and while scientists say we humans begin to lose our memory at 30, I am now 53 and it doesn't feel right to me that I should forget what I opened the refrigerator door for.
I used to be great with names, but if I haven't see someone for a few years, I can forget their name. This is one that has bothered me a lot. Last night Steve and I were discussing older friends that we haven't seen since we moved here (almost 5 years ago now). Not only did I remember their last name, I remembered both their first names, and as neither of us have known them for long and poor Steve was fishing for a name or two, they popped right into my head.
I also seem to have a clearer head in the morning when it used to take me a few pushes on the snooze button, just to get going. Now I hop out of bed and get going with the first alarm. This morning I even got up with Steven at 6:00am and I still feel great (usually I am ready to crash by 9:00 in the evening). Stay tuned for our next installment. Bless you and yours, be they two or four-legged. Ruthie
